We as a firm have always taken an optimistic view of life. Hopefully this current crisis is just another challenge. We (and you clients) survived the share market crash in 1987, Malaysian shock 1998 and the GFC in 2008. Therefore we do not wish to be alarmist.
However as the Covid-19 outbreak continues to develop, we at Foy & Halse wish to reassure you that our priority is to continue to provide the very highest quality of service to our clients while protecting the health and wellbeing of our staff. To achieve this, we are making decisions based on official advice from the relevant government agencies. We will go further where we believe it is the responsible thing to do.
We have already prepared extensively to ensure we can maintain service levels should, as increasingly seems likely, more of our people need to work remotely in the coming weeks and months. As an example our IT Consultant has ensured that our staff have the capability to work remotely whilst retaining confidentiality.
You will have already noted from recent emails that we are encouraging you where possible to transact as many dealings as possible remotely.
