JESS COLLETT
Director
Jess studied law at the University of Waikato, graduating in 2015 and being admitted to the Bar in 2016. She spent the early years of her legal career specialising in Commercial/Corporate law in Hamilton before making the move up to Auckland in 2019 to branch out into Civil Litigation and more general practice work. Jess joined the Foy & Halse team in 2021, and has had the pleasure of working closely with Graeme and his clients during this time.
Jess is passionate about the work she does, and has a close and trusting relationship with her clients. She takes immense pride in helping them to achieve their personal and commercial goals. Jess has a common-sense approach to her legal practise and aims to make the law more accessible and understandable for her clients.

ALICE NUNN
Director
Alice is a specialist private client lawyer whose practice is centered around advising on complex estate, trust, and capacity matters as well as asset protection. She has a particular expertise in advising clients who are facing or dealing with a contentious or problematic trust or estate issue.
GRAEME HALSE
Consultant
Graeme obtained an Honours degree from Auckland University and was admitted to the bar in 1978. After working for a city Law firm he joined with Mick Foy to start his own practice at the age of 24. He has practised continuously for 43 years. He likes to problem solve and gets immense satisfaction from adding value to a client's business or enterprise as well as giving peace of mind. A background in all areas of litigation (including appearing as counsel to Court of Appeal level) allows him to assess the likelihood of success or the likely pitfalls. This allows legal disputes to be settled within acceptable parameters.

Outside the office he is a director of a number of successful private companies. He enjoys travelling with his beautiful partner Sonja, cooking, growing his own organic vegetables (including making his own
compost) fishing and diving. He has four successful adult children.
