It is with a very heavy heart, we announce the passing of former business partner, long-time friend and mentor, Mick Foy.

Mick & Graeme first put their shingle up on Manukau Road in 1981, when Foy and Halse started as two optimistic blokes, a few law books (now displayed in the office), and a passion to build a practice on great work with great laughs. They built that firm which has now endured more than 4 decades, several office moves, countless clients, and many memorable relationships.

Even as the firm moves forward under new leadership, Mick’s influence and legacy is embedded in the culture and continues in the way we work, the people he mentored, and the values he integrated.

To Mick: thanks for the years of friendship, the guidance, and the stories that are still whispered around the office—some of which may even be true.

You will be deeply missed, old friend, but never forgotten.
